2 x 50gm balls in navy blue. (Colour B)
2 x 50gm balls in beige. (Colour C)

3mm crochet hook

Finished Size

37.5 inches (95 cm) long by 27 inches (69 cm) wide approx.

Tension

Not specified, but try to keep work even throughout.

IMPORTANT PATTERN NOTES:

Working with colour: Change colour at the end of the row when required. Work as if you are making a treble stitch, w begin the stitch and when you have two loops on hook join in the new colour, and complete the treble stitch. This gives the neatest finish. Make sure on completion of blanket all ends are securely darned in.

The abbreviations and pattern for this scarf are shown initially and in black for UK terminology and in red in brackets for US terminology, if different.

Darn in all ends. Block into shape.

Aruba Blue Notes:

Use this as a springboard for your own ideas and colour schemes. Ideal for using oddments out of your stash as long as the yarn weight is the same throughout the blanket.

Try using a 4.00mm hook with DK, or 4.50 with Aran weight yarn.

Bear in mind the bigger the hook and yarn weight, the bigger the blanket will turn out.

No rules - have fun.
