Welcome to Issue Five.
It has been a turbulent and dramatic few months since our last issue, and we must firstly thank everyone for their patience and words of support.
We have a sensational issue for you, packed with beautiful projects for you to knit and crochet, with exclusive patterns from established and new designers. We say hello to Henrietta, our new knitonthenet columnist, who will be advising us on the latest fashion trends each issue. We also have in depth features on Woolly Wormhead and Biggan Design.
We are thrilled to announce we are the official sponsors of I Knit Day on Saturday, 6th September 2008 with special guest, The Yarn Harlot, Stephanie Pearl McPhee. Tickets are available from I Knit London. If last year is anything to go by it should be a great day and we look forward to meeting many of you there.
And finally, the news we've been waiting to reveal; the anticipated publication date of A Stitch In Time is 25th September 2008. We hope to be able to offer an advance ordering facility shortly. Or, to be one of the first to own this beautiful and important book, why not visit our "Stitch In Time" launch event on 25th September at The Bluecoat, Liverpool. This will be an opportunity to purchase a limited number of signed copies of the book and also to see the "Stitch In Time" exhibition and fashion show. More information about this exciting event will follow shortly.
